Casa Viriato is located in the city center, next to Praça Marquês de Pombal, one of Lisbon’s main squares, and Avenida da Liberdade, known for its luxury stores and kiosks along its 1.5 kilometers (1 mile), specialising in different foods and drinks.

Casa Viriato is a two-bedroom apartment with two WCs, a dining room, a living room and a kitchen. Ideal for a family, couples, business travellers or just solo travellers who like space.

This spacious and stylish property, located on the upper ground floor of a beautiful building (Valmor Prize building in 1917) is the perfect pad from which to launch your Lisbon trip.
The space was designed and decorated having one thing in mind: making sure you will you be immersed in Lisbon’s landscape and culture and providing you with the best accommodation experience.

Swallows room
Bedroom One (Swallows room) contains a double bed and large fitted wardrobes.

The bathroom features bath/shower, WC and basin.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, gas oven/stove, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, electric boiler, toaster, a dining table and all the crockery, cutlery, glass, cooking utensils, pans and more that you might need during your stay.
Sardines room
Bedroom Two (Sardines room) is a very spacious room containing also a double bed, ample storage space in fitted wardrobes, a desk and a sofa which can be used as a single bed. It was a small balcony in the back.
This bedroom can accommodate 3 people in total.

The bathroom features bath/shower, WC and basin.
Living and Dining room
The apartment’s dining area with seating for six is contiguous to the living-room with a comfortable large sofa and an LCD TV with international freeview channels.
Lisbon Center Location
Despite being in the city centre this is a very quiet place. You will find a local collection of grocery stores, coffee shops, supermarkets, gyms, rent-a-cars, ATMs, laundries as well as restaurants to suit most tastes.

Avenida da Liberdade is now home to the city’s most exclusive international fashion brands. The resurgence of traditional kiosks along the alleyway has contributed to the revitalisation of this social avenue's vibrant atmosphere.
Kiosks play a vital role in the area's social life, serving as a meeting place for acquaintances and a place to lounge outside while enjoying lemonade and listening to live music.
Close to the apartment you also have Parque Eduardo VII, a 64-acre public park located on a gentle hill behind or northwest of the Marquês de Pombal square.

A fantastic family trip to Lisbon!!
The property was very nice, clean and we were provided with everything you would expect. Teresa met us and gave us a tour and handed over the keys. She was so nice and provided lots of valuable information for our trip. The location is good, outside of the main tourist area but close enough to walk and there are a couple of metro stations very close. We had a small baby with us and teresa was great in providing a cot and high chair.

The flat is super central being a fantastic transport link. It is 120 meters’ way from Picoas subway station and several Bus stops to Lisbon’s main tourist attractions. From the apartment to Praça Marquês do Pombal it is a 3 minute’s walk.
Despite being a great transport hub, we recommend that you simply walk to Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods like Rossio, Bairro Alto, Alfama, Castelo, etc. You can go through the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, a 90-meter-wide boulevard, 1100 m long, with ten lanes divided by pedestrian pavements decorated with gardens.
Alternatively, you can always take one of the city's Taxis or an Uber.

Lisbon's international airport is 7 km/4.3 miles away from the apartment and takes around 15 min by Taxi/Uber.
​
The apartment has no parking, but there are two public parks nearby (Picoas Plaza Parking at 50 m/0.03 miles and Marquês de Pombal Parking at 400 m/0.24 miles). You can also park in the street depending on available slots.
House Rules
Please respect the fact that this is a residential area. The noise must be kept at a respectable level at all times so as not to disturb the neighbours.
